Oh how I wish I hadn't delayed booking this, When I phoned last week all the Silver and Gold packages have sold out. We were hoping for the Silver one as my son and daughter are taking me for my birthday, but Champagne and Pimms travel well so we'll just have to take our own and get there early for a good place to sit.

I would like to go to this one but still deciding!
If weather is drier it would be better
but then have to find somewhere to stay.
I wonder though if Russell will do any other outdoor concerts later
in the summer?

What a lovely evening (albeit very cold!) Waddesdon Manor and grounds were beautiful, only 50 mins from me and didnt know it existed until this concert popped up! Russell was on top form and sung and entertained brilliantly throughout, with a little help from Rob of course. I think the song choices were similar to Portsmouth and RAH, and singing 'Bridge over Troubled Waters' he said it was the first time he'd sung it out doors. Amore the supporting act came on in the second half and captivated the audience with their beautiful voices, i'm sure we'll be seeing and hearing alot more of them.
Not sure the sound was as good as past picnic concerts I've been to but I guess that could have been due to were we where sitting.
Like many of you I'm going to get withdrawal symptoms now as that was my last one until Scarborough, I hope Russell is thinking about next years concerts or Christmas would be nice, after he's had a well deserved holiday of course.
I did take a couple of pics which i will try and put on later. Not sure what they'll be like tho, as you all know he moves about so much that by the time I'd found him through the viewer he'd gone before i had chance to press he button!

Enjoy Nottingham Angela (silly thing to say). I wish Russell would come further south for a picnic concert but I am so grateful I got to see him at Portsmouth thanks to a very kind friend. Hope we meet up again soon. Looking forward to your review.
